ZENO
Founding engineer at Zeno Technologies. I built the application and API from scratch: dozens of pages, charts over huge point sets, maps with shapefiles and drawing, and SQL that had to be generated on the fly.
I led frontend and fullstack, shipped a lot of surface area quickly, and spent real time making it stay fast.
I built all those screens—fully typed TypeScript from the database to the UI—and designed the UI/UX. The data layer was GraphQL with streaming and dataloaders. The product became Energy OS: reserves forecasting, financial models, portfolio / A&D, and a Command Center for live performance against plan.
The hardest feature was the interactive charting system: hundreds of thousands to millions of points, real-time curve fitting, drag a curve and recalculate live. Every mouse move was expensive. It took frontend optimization, local caching, and data-layer work to stay responsive—trial and error until it felt flawless.
The tool
I built all of these screens—Command Center, analysis and financial models, well maps, performance reporting, and the type-curve charting tool.
